Margaret Chittenden

British born author, mainly of adult mystery and romance novels. Born in the North of England, near the Scottish borders, worked as a civil servant and at Pinewood studios before meeting her American husband and moving to the States. Once there she began writing, publishing a large number of magazine articles and short stories, and then novels. 

Although mainly an adult author she has written some books for children, including one pony mystery story. Margaret also writes under the name of Meg Chittenden.

Although British-born, the author's books are published in the USA where she has lived for many years, therefore are much easier to find there than in the UK. Her one pony story is reasonably easy to find in America, although price does tend to vary a lot.
